the friendly staff were very welcoming and even gave me a complimentary handkerchief and a "Welcome" tea upon check-in. the private onsen was perfect for relaxing with my partner. the view from my room was breathtaking, with a stunning lake view and picturesque mountains in the background. the location was ideal and it was easy to get to tourist spots.
Although the nightly activities were limited, the ryokan experience was still great overall. the staff were very friendly and helpful except for one person who seemed to rush us a bit during the welcome tea.

During the Christmas period, I stayed at a traditional Japanese hotel in the Fuji area. The hotel provided complimentary tea and sweets while we waited for our room to be ready. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they spoke English well, which made communication easier. The hotel was situated near a beautiful lake, which offered a nice view during our stay. Additionally, the onsen bath was relaxing and gave us a taste of traditional Japanese culture.
the hotel was difficult to find and access without a car. Furthermore, although we had requested a non-smoking room, upon arrival we found that we had been given a smoking room, which ruined our stay.

My friend and I had an amazing stay at this beautiful ryokan on Kawaguchiko. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The staff were professional, friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable. The facilities were excellent, especially the four onsens that provided stunning views of Mt. Fuji. The dinner served in our room was delicious and the bed was made for us afterwards. The location right on the shore of Lake Kawaguchiko offered breathtaking panoramic views. The shuttle bus service to the station was convenient. I highly recommend this ryokan for a wonderful and relaxing stay.
